As we look back on the 4th Annual Honey Ridge Rodeo, we would like to take some time to thank some of the people who helped make the event possible!

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Amber Grimes of Carter Veterinary Services, LLC, for serving as the on-site veterinarian during the rodeo this past weekend!

Her dedication to animal health and welfare played a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of both livestock and contestants throughout the event. Having a knowledgeable and dependable veterinarian on site is essential to the success of any rodeo!

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Carter Veterinary Services, LLC, for their generous support as a Bucking Chute Sponsor for this year’s rodeo. Their commitment to the local agricultural industry and our local community helps make events like the Honey Ridge Rodeo possible!

That’s a wrap on the 4th Annual Honey Ridge Rodeo presented by Hendrix Machinery Inc.!

What an incredible weekend as we “tied down” another successful year at the Honey Ridge Agricenter. From the fast-paced action in the arena to the energy in the stands, this year’s rodeo was one to remember!

We were proud to welcome over 2,500 attendees over the two nights. Thank you to each and every person who came out to support this event and our mission.

The Honey Ridge Rodeo is more than just a great time; it serves as a fundraiser for the Effingham County Young Farmers Association, helping support agricultural education, youth leadership development, scholarships, and community programs right here in Effingham County. Events like this allow us to continue investing in the future of agriculture and the next generation of leaders!

We want to extend a sincere thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, contestants, and fans who made this event possible. It truly takes a community to pull off something like this, and we are grateful for the continued support.

As you watch this tie-down roping run filmed by Montana Rooker Photography, it’s a perfect reminder of how we’re wrapping up another year of the Honey Ridge Rodeo. It's hard work, precision, and tradition all coming together in one moment to make a great two nights for our community!
