Hersheypark has recently demolished the station for sooperdooperLooper. A BRAND NEW arrival and boarding experience will be debuting for the ride’s 50th Anniversary. I’m excited to see this project begin to take shape over the next few months!

It was great to get back to Hersheypark Dark Night’s for its 5-year anniversary. After missing the event last year, it was great to get back inside of the incredible Haunted Houses. Kill ‘n’ Fill Garage was a brand new one for me and might be my favorite at the event. Plus, there’s the all new Reese’s Depot of Doom which acts as a hybrid between a house and a scare zone. I found this to be a great way of introducing people to haunted attractions.

The park day itself albeit was a bit mixed in terms of ride operations. The weirdest bit was unintentionally getting a last ride of the “night” on Hershey Triple Tower…at 4:30PM. The weather itself was also very misty, leading Skyrush to be closed all day.

Overall, I enjoyed my time but I feel there were definitely some areas they can improve in terms of park-wide ambience. The houses certainly are the real stars, and some of the best in the region.
