Congratulations to one of our very own City of Guntersville departments! If you haven’t been to the Guntersville Museum and Cultural Center you need to take some time to visit.

The Guntersville Museum is honored to receive the 2026 Historical Museum Award in the large category. This recognition means so much to our city, community, and everyone who has dedicated many years to researching and preserving our local history. Thank you to the Alabama Historical Association for this acknowledgement, and to the incredible people who love and support our museum.
