I always liked taking photos or recording videos as a kid, however in the 2006-2007 period is when my true passion for photography as an art began. I started with a simple point and shoot when I was at a concert; I got some good shots and fell in love with taking photos since, primarily concert photos. After saving up for a bit better camera, I started my business 91 Perks Photography to take phot
os of local bands so they could have promo material for posters, CD booklets and websites. I was primarily into local concert photography in San Antonio, Texas. I also became interested in sports photography when I started taking photos of friends skateboarding. When I graduated Alamo Heights High School, I moved to Gunnison, Colorado to attend Western State Colorado University (Western State College when I arrived in 2010). In moving to Gunnison, I became very interested in landscape photography, given the beauty I was surrounded by, but I have kept up with sports photography in taking photos at the college football games as well as snowboarding and skiing photos. I still do concert photography, however, it is not as busy due to lack of local shows in a small town. Landscape, concert & sports photography are the primary types of photography I do. I have since graduated WSCU with a degree in Psychology & Sociology, married my best friend David and look forward to more beauty to discover as life takes me and my camera around this wonderful world.
