My Story
DANCE FOR JOY DANCEWEAR·SATURDAY, AUGUST 11, 2018·
My childhood was plagued with twisted ankles due to being “pigeon toed”. After trying various treatment, at 5 years of age, the doctors recommended that I try ballet. Since that time, I have continued to dance through most of my life I began teaching at Ballet Theatre School in 2011. Finding dancewear on the MS Gulf Coast for myself and

my two daughters has often been a struggle. Ballet Theatre School began selling dancewear several years ago. This solved the dancewear problem and I have enjoyed shoes and tights that are durable, comfortable, and affordable. In February 2018 I took over the dancewear business and named it Dance for Joy Dancewear. I am proud to sell this merchandise because I have had great experience with these products in my personal dance life. By selling dancewear at the studio, students receive personal fittings and help in finding the dancewear that is right for them. I am proud to be a new business owner and strive to spread joy of dance to others.
