The group’s board of directors wanted to take advantage of being dark during COVID-19 to make some needed repairs. The plan was to mortgage the building to pay for repairs, but a zoning issue tripped them up.

As many of you know, GLT offers theatre classes. Tonight the class that began in January 2020 finally were able to present their showcase to family, friends and the public. This group of talented young people have had to deal with COVID cancelling classes, restarting virtually, technical troubles due to a hurricane and every thing in between. They were determined to finish strong and what a performance they gave. Some said they couldn’t dance, but they did, some had never experienced anything other than comedies but they brought tears to eyes with their dramatic performances. Super proud!
