💙 Nancy Cox Brunson Memorial Scholarship 💙
Congratulations to our 2026 recipient, Annalise Isbell.
The Nancy Cox Brunson Memorial Scholarship is awarded each year to a student who demonstrates that the example they set matters just as much as the steps they take. This student is chosen based on their love for dance, dedication, work ethic, kindness, encouragement, and positive impact on others.
Annalise embodies those qualities beautifully.
She is the kind of dancer who is genuinely excited for the success of others, celebrates her teammates, and brings positivity wherever she goes. If someone is having a hard day, Annalise notices. She is known for showing up with a handwritten note, a thoughtful card, or a few kind words just when they are needed most.
This year, she has grown tremendously as a dancer, but what stands out even more is her character. No matter the challenge, correction, or placement, she approaches dance with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a smile on her face.
We are so proud to recognize Annalise as this year’s scholarship recipient and to celebrate the kindness, heart, and encouragement she brings to Island Dance Academy every day.
