A StatementFrom Gulf Coast Party Pumper

We are aware of comments circulating on social media alleging that our fire truck party bus used emergency lights to bypass traffic. We want to address these claims directly.

At no time during any of our tours or private events do we operate emergency equipment or represent ourselves as an emergency response vehicle. During the construction of our fire truck, we ensured it complied with all applicable laws, and we continue to operate in full compliance with those laws every time we are on the road.

Our vehicle is not equipped with red emergency lights, as their use is prohibited except as authorized by law.
On the day in question, we were traveling west on Highway 98 in the Destin–Fort Walton Beach area and, like every other motorist, were delayed by traffic while legitimate emergency responders passed with their emergency equipment activated. It appears we were mistakenly associated with those responding units.

The safety of our guests has always been, and will always remain, our highest priority. We never rush, we never attempt to bypass traffic unlawfully, and we schedule our tours with ample travel time to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone on board.

We understand that misunderstandings can occur, but we respectfully ask that our business not be judged based on inaccurate assumptions. We appreciate the continued support of our customers and our community, and we remain committed to operating safely, professionally, and in full compliance with all applicable laws.
