Something exciting - & a little mysterious - is landing at the Center Theatre! 👽

Steven Spielberg’s new sci-fi mystery thriller DISCLOSURE DAY opens nationwide on June 12! The film follows a television meteorologist investigating an alleged government cover-up involving UFO’s & extraterrestrial life. Even better, DISCLOSURE DAY has a unique local connection: Captain Edward Ruppelt was born & raised in Grundy Center & led the Air Force’s official investigation of UFO’s in the 1950’s through Project Blue Book. Widely regarded as a pioneer in the field, Ruppelt coined the term "Unidentified Flying Object” (UFO)" & introduced a systematic, evidence-based approach to investigating reported sightings - work that continues to influence UFO research & public understanding today.
