Mark Morrison, Eaton, CO, and Chad Wahlert, Kersey, CO, (pictured) split the team roping title in 2026 with Lee Hagler of Ft. Lupton, CO, and Rolon Morrito, of Evans, CO. The win catapulted Wahlert into the number two spot of all-time money earners at Grover with winnings totaling $4,850. Jay Tittel still holds tight to the number one spot.
Unfortunately, JD Yates, Pueblo, CO, was bumped out of the top five after the 6.7 second run by Morrison and Wahlert.

The 2026 steer roping title stayed in the Taton family! Congratulations to Cody Taton of Liberal, KS, for winning the first round with an 11.4 added to his solid 15 flat run in the second round for the average win and championship buckle.

Accepting the buckle on behalf of his cousin is Ora Taton, last year’s champion.
The buckle was sponsored by the Adams family in honor of Warren and Peggy Adams, daughter and son-in-law of the late Earl Anderson. Pictured with Ora is Warren and Peggy’s son Tim Adams and grandson-in-law Randy Robb.
