Wondering if your child’s speech or language development is on track?

Maybe you’ve noticed that your child is difficult to understand, isn’t using as much language as you expected, communicates differently than other children their age, or you simply have questions about their communication.

A speech & language screening is a brief, low-pressure way to take a closer look.
During your child’s FREE 30-minute screening, a Speech-Language Pathologist from The Dramatic SLP will spend time getting to know your child through play and interaction while looking at areas such as:

💜 Speech sounds and overall intelligibility
💜 Expressive and receptive language
💜 Functional communication of wants, needs, and ideas
💜 Social communication
💜 AAC or alternative forms of communication, when appropriate
💜 Any specific communication concerns you have as a parent
Following the screening, we’ll discuss what we observed and help you understand whether your child’s communication appears appropriate for their current developmental level or whether a comprehensive speech and language evaluation may be recommended.

A screening is not a diagnosis or a full evaluation. Instead, it’s a great first step for families who have questions and aren’t sure where to begin.

Imagination Village will also be offering $10 play sessions per child that day!
Your child can come play, explore, and have fun while your family gets access to a FREE communication screening.

Open Play hours are switching back to 9-4 Monday through Friday
and 9-12 Saturday and Sunday

Mondays: Move and Groove 10am $10 class fee
Tuesdays: Little Learners 10am $5 class fee

10/8 Hocus Pocus Door Hanger (for Grown Ups) $5ea
make a festive door hanger with yarn

10/15 Ceramic Spooky House (for kids and grown ups) $5ea
use paint markers to decorate a spooky ceramic decorative house

10/22 Rope Ghost Craft (for kids and grown ups) $5ea
use ropes to make a friendly door hanger

10/29 Pumpkin Family Craft $5ea
(kids will use a children’s safety table saw and cut out their pumpkin family, paint, and glue to canvas)

10/30 Flying Bat Craft FREE

10/31 Glow Halloween Party 10-12pm
Halloween Dance Party! Imagination Village will transform into a glowing dance party with light up tubes, fun music, costumes, and treats!
