We had our first Choir Hangout of the year this evening at the bowling alley!

Tonight we performed in Carnegie Hall! We were 15 in a group of over 200 students! When I asked them what it was like singing on that stage, they said things like “transcendent” and “empowering.”

Our choir members are in New York this week preparing for a concert at Carnegie Hall! We’ve been able to explore the 9/11 Memorial, Central Park, Times Square, the National Museum of Natural History, and more! The concert is tonight followed by a reception, and then back home tomorrow!

Several of our choir members are participating in Lake County Honor Choir! They are working with four different directors and learning so much! Super proud of how well they represented GMS at this event.
