In the 1960's, eight local artists formed the Brush and Palette Club of Grove, Oklahoma. Fifty year member, Caroline Baker remembers paying for the front half of the big red barn by selling milk, eggs, cream and butter with other members each donating $5. a month or working at building renovations to afford membership. Today the club's fine arts gallery is truly an asset to the town of Grove. In t

he beginning and to this day, Brush and Palette's goal is to promote an appreciation of cultural arts. The public is always welcome and the gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 - 4. From real life, photo, or imagination? In those special colors or dimensions you need to fit your decor? why not challenge one of our talented 30 or so artists members to paint a heirloom masterpiece for you? Please come and visit. If you haven't been in at all, or recently, you're truly missing out on one of Grove's most delightful assets!

We are also announcing that this year we will also be awarding the Darianne Zarintash Memorial Scholarship to one outstanding Grand Lake Area High School artist. Also attached is the Rules Letter.

SUPER SALE THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY! The Brush and Palette Art Gallery will be offering 20% off most art work this Friday and Saturday, Jan. 16th and 17th from 10am - 4 pm. We will also have an assortment of used art books, figurines and other items for sale. Stop by the Gallery at 18 W 4th in Grove .
