Last week was Little Diggers very first franchise conference, The Sandbox Summit!🪏🪣

Our manager got to meet with the other corporate managers from Little Diggers Des Peres, Little Diggers West Chester, Little Diggers Dublin, and Little Diggers Fairview Park to collaborate on tips and tricks in the playspace.

Our owners Zach and Hannah Bowers spoke about what it is to work for this company, we got to meet franchisees, learn about upcoming surprises, and spend time together.

We had the best time and can't wait for what's in store (...or sandbox)!✨💛

For our family, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month isn't just another thing on the calendar, it’s a yearly reminder that our journey to parenthood hasn’t been as straightforward as we anticipated. While you see our three beautiful children in our marketing on a regular basis, we see them know there could’ve been two more joining in that didn’t make it earthside. Maybe you look at your kids and see the same.

One of the most encouraging things that happened after our first miscarriage was hearing from dozens of friends and family who had been through the same. While it didn’t eliminate the grief, it was an important reminder for me that I wasn’t alone.

That’s what I’ve found to be most challenging about this, specific grief journey: feeling alone.

Because of that - knowing just how much having others had encouraged me - I want to do the same for anyone else who may be going through the same.

So, here’s my ask:

Next week, we’re hosting a memorial wall in the playspace and inviting anyone in the area who has experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. If you’ve personally experienced that, would you stop in to put up a butterfly on our wall? (You don’t even need to stay and play, just please come in and put up something!)

Because I know the algorithm will share this post with more people if there are comments, would you drop a comment to help us get the word out?

As local parents of two young, energetic children, we understand the need for kids to create and imagine in a fun, safe, and climate controlled environment—Amarillo weather, right? 😅💨☔️❄️☀️

We have our building secured and are gearing up to start building the perfect sandbox for you and your little ones to enjoy.

What started as “I’ve got a crazy idea” between friends has grown into a reality and we couldn’t be more excited! Our families can’t wait to open our doors and show you what we’ve been working on.

Over 1,200 square feet of soft indoor sand, construction trucks, excavators, digging, building, and BIG fun — all designed for little diggers ages 7 and under. 🏗️
