Things have been a bit more lively at home the last week - as my husband and I welcomed a new temporary addition to our family. Mama Rosie and all ten of her pups were in need of a foster home, where mama and babies could have privacy and quiet the next few weeks while the babies are nursing. Our library been turned into their own little nursery while they visit us. 🥰

Many of you who know me well are aware of my slight *obsession* with Buc-ee's.

When the opportunity to have a photography session at the new location came up in my Facebook feed, I knew it was something I couldn't pass up.

The Tipp City Photographer does AMAZING work and was so fun to work with.

I love how these photos came out!

I had quite the adventure this past weekend in Michigan, when I attended the Great Lakes Mega Meet hosted by Great Lakes Scrapbook Events.

Anyone who knows me well knows that doing this was very much out of my comfort zone - but I had a great time and I am so thankful I went!

I had the opportunity to sit with (and catch up with) some amazing ladies I met at a crafty event in Columbus (when GLSE had their Scrap & Stamp Show). It was wonderful to see them and to participate in the Friday Night Crop Party table-decorating contest with them!

I did a LOT of walking (check out that step count!) because I *may* have spent more time socializing and shopping the vendors than I did crafting. 😅 There were sooo many AMAZING vendors and I came home with so many crafty goodies!

All in all it was a great trip and I look forward to attending the Mega Meet again next year! 💜

Every now and then I get the opportunity to attend a class, a crop, or a retreat - time where I get to craft with friends, socialize, make new friends, and to catch up on personal crafty projects I'm working on. A nice little break from the solitude of my home crafty corner. 💜

This year, I'll be attending the Great Lakes Mega Meet - a paper-crafting event hosted by Great Lakes Scrapbook Events. It's my first time attending Mega Meet, but not my first time attending an event hosted by GLSE and I am so looking forward to it! Just over a week away until this crafty getaway!

Thinking about my upcoming trip got me wondering...

Today is the day!

We will be at the Teays Valley 💐 Spring Fling Craft Bazaar 💐 from 8:30 to 2:30.

The event is indoors, so if the weather decides to be dreary, you can browse some amazing vendors and stay dry! 💜 Hope to see you there!
