Conundrum Escape Rooms – Grove City, Ohio
Do you enjoy puzzles, meeting new people, and creating memorable experiences? Conundrum Escape Rooms is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable Game Master to join our team!
As a Game Master, you'll be much more than someone who watches a game. You'll be the face of our business—welcoming guests, creating excitement before their adventure, helping groups when they get stuck, resetting rooms, and making sure every team leaves with an unforgettable experience.
What You'll Do:
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service.
- Check in players and process payments.
- Explain game rules and safety procedures.
- Monitor games and provide clues when appropriate.
- Reset escape rooms by following detailed instructions.
- Keep rooms clean, organized, and operating properly.
- Test puzzles, replace batteries, and report maintenance issues.
- Schedule & Hours
- Because we operate by reservation, this is a flexible, on-call/as-needed position.
Most bookings are scheduled in advance, but same-day reservations do happen. Team members will have designated on-call availability and should be prepared to work with as little as one hour's notice during those scheduled periods.
There are also opportunities to pick up additional hours by:
Assisting when multiple escape rooms are running simultaneously.
Helping with large groups or special events.
Cleaning rooms, testing puzzles, replacing batteries, and preparing games for upcoming reservations.
Hours will vary depending on reservations and business needs, making this an excellent position for someone looking for flexible supplemental income.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Friendly, positive, and outgoing.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Excellent with customers.
- Able to follow detailed instructions.
- Comfortable handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Able to think on their feet and solve simple problems.
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
- Customer service or entertainment experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.
