I purchased these green buttons years ago at a fiber festival and have been searching for the perfect yarn to match. My search is over!! Falkland Chunky in Avocado is just what I wanted. I’m knitting the Nordic Bloom vest and I am so excited to have this done for the fall.

There are a couple of spots left in Peggy’s Seaming class this Sunday from 10am to 12pm. Peggy will help you unravel the mystery of the mattress stitch. If you’re interest call the shop to sign up. There is homework for this class so don’t wait!

I won at yarn chicken 🐔 making the Patina, a beautiful scarf using Urth Yarns. The pattern says to check your gauge and I did - halfway through the project 😬! All’s well that ends well. Urth Yarns’ 16 and Bonmoher make an absolutely luscious combo and it was a pleasure knitting this scarf.
