Dozens of bird lovers gathered at The Groton Inn on Sunday, August 2, to view our latest show, "Wings Over New England," and enjoy a talk by Lillian Stokes, well-known birding expert and author of 40 field guides. Stokes spoke of last winter's visit of rare Evening Grosbeaks to Groton and raffled off one of her books.
The event raised $250 toward shipments of clothing and supplies to Ukraine, organized by Amy Degen.
