Join us for two receptions tonight from 5-8 pm! Open Air 2026 features 7 new sculptures and installations, including the elegant Scrim Valley by Fritz Horstman. Fritz Horstman

We are also celebrating our regional artists and the young artists of Expressiones Cultural Center, with a closing reception for Seeing Into the Present. The gallery exhibition includes works in painting, photography, print, installation, and mixed media.

Seek, Find, Search, Return, by Iris Yu is on view in Seeing Into the Present, an exhibition of regional artists.

Iris Yu, graduated from UConn this spring with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She is preparing for a solo exhibition this summer at 82 Parris in Portland Maine. Iris is an extremely talented young artist and we’re excited to see what she will create next!


The gallery, on the second floor of the Branford House is free and open to the public. It is open Thursday- Sunday, 12-4 pm.

The gallery is excited to present joyous and beautiful artworks by the children of Expressiones Cultural Programs as part of the current exhibition Seeing Into the Present. The young artists worked with visiting artists from Expressiones AIR program to explore art making and creativity.
