Thank you for visiting our page. A lot has changed since 1962, the year Grosse Pointe Chamber Music was created. It started out as a neighborhood workshop where local classical musicians could perform for their friends & other music lovers. Today the performers in the GPCM concert series are active all over the metro Detroit area as music educators, as soloists and as musicians in a huge variety of ensembles. Our musical community has changed but we continue to be supportive of each other. Now more than ever we also understand how important it is to recognize and encourage young musicians.
