We have a classic "good news, bad news" update for you regarding the progress at The Osprey. Let’s rip the band-aid off and start with the bad news first

😡 The Bad News: As some of you might know, a contractor delay a few months back caused a massive ripple effect that pushed back timelines for all of our other trades. Unfortunately, the same thing is happening again causing a very similar domino effect, which means our overall project timeline is being pushed back a bit further than we originally hoped. We know how frustrating the wait is, and trust us - we share that frustration!

🌟 The Good News: We aren't just sitting idle! We have decided to use this extra time to make The Osprey even better than we originally planned. We are officially adding additional design enhancements to both the interior and exterior of the project!

While the wait is a little longer than expected, we promise the final result is going to be absolutely worth it. We are so incredibly grateful for your continued patience, support, and excitement as we navigate the wonderful world of construction.

Stay tuned - we can't wait to share some sneak peeks of the new upgrades with you soon! 👀✨

Today on Labor Day, we want to recognize every single person who has put their time, talent, and effort into making The Osprey what it is today.

From the crews who have been here day after day, to the local businesses, tradespeople, and everyone who has helped along the way - we’re truly grateful for the work, dedication, and pride you’ve put into this project.

Every wall, every detail, and every step forward has been made possible by people who showed up and put in the work. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has been a part of the journey.

We are SO close to The Osprey being done! 🦅✨

We’re officially in some of the final big steps, and we can’t believe how quickly this space is coming together!

🏗️ THE FLOORING IS IN! A huge thank you to Reyna’s Flooring & Trim Carpentry for doing such an amazing job!

🚪 WE HAVE DOORS! Doors are now on all of the rooms, and trim is being installed throughout the space! A huge thank you to Mans Lumber & Home for supplying the doors!

🎨 PAINTING IS UNDERWAY! Thank you to Nick's Perfect Powerwashing for bringing our painting vision to life!

✨ THE GROUT IS FINISHED on the tile work!

🏢 Outside, some of the siding panels on the building are being replaced as we continue putting the finishing touches on the exterior. Thank you KS Property Maintenance, Inc. helping with this important work!

We are SO excited about this amazing progress and cannot wait to show you the final version of The Osprey!

It may still be 100° outside, but we’re already in our FALL FLOWER ERA. 🍂🌸

We had so much fun getting a little behind-the-scenes look at the creativity and talent that goes into what Kayla does at 189 Blooms. There’s nothing better than seeing an idea come to life through flowers, and Kayla makes it look effortless. 🤍

We’re so lucky to work alongside such talented local vendors and can’t wait to keep introducing you to the people who help make The Osprey so special!

Some local businesses become part of the fabric of a community - and Grosse Ile Hardware is one of them. 🛠️🍿

Throughout the construction of The Osprey, their team has been there to help us with the things we needed along the way. From quick hardware runs to finding the right part, we’ve been grateful to have them just around the corner.

They even let us use their forklift when an unexpected delivery showed up - talk about going above and beyond!

And if you’ve never been inside Grosse Ile Hardware, let’s just say… it’s a little more than your average hardware store.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support Grosse Ile Hardware has given The Osprey throughout our construction process. Local businesses like this are a huge part of what makes Grosse Ile such a special place to build, work and call home.
