Grosse Ile Recreation The Grosse Ile Recreation Department provides recreation activities and events for the township.

The Community Recreation Department provides hundreds of recreation programs and events for residents of all ages. This department also oversees the operations of the Water’s Edge Recreation Complex, that includes the marina, pool, golf course and driving range.The department also oversees the Centennial Farm and the Airport Recreation Park.

Good afternoon GI!

As our staff move on to start their college school year and our high school students begin their fall sports and other extracurriculars, we will be changing the hours of the pool.

Starting tomorrow, our Open Swim hours for Fridays and Saturdays are both 1pm-6pm. Next week, our weekday and Sunday hours will change, so please stay up to date through Facebook, the Grosse Ile Township page, and grosseilerecreation.org to see what those times are.
