Great turnout at our opening of Elusive Balance! Elusive Balance - An Iowa Artist/Mother Group, explores the realities of motherhood through fiber, sculpture, painting, photography, mixed media, and installation works. Challenging the myth of “having it all together,” the exhibition celebrates the complex, inspiring intersection of creative identity and caregiving.

The Iowa Artist/Mother Group is an ever-growing, egalitarian group started in 2021 that meets to build community, share resources, and support artists who are also caregivers.
