Some family photos become a little more special when you realize just how much life is about to change.

With one child already grown, a junior in high school, and another heading off to start her own journey in a new city, this mama is standing right in the middle of one of those seasons of motherhood that feels both beautiful and bittersweet.

The kids may grow up, move away, and start lives of their own… but they’ll always be her kids. 🤎

You don’t need matching outfits or little ones running around to make a family session meaningful. Sometimes it’s simply about capturing your people exactly as they are, right before life changes.

And, of course, their four-legged family member had to make sure he got his moment in the spotlight, too. 🐾😂

✨ It was so great to attend the ribbon cutting this morning for this beautiful new mural by Art You Wood Love 🎨 It was so great stopping to chat with Courtney during her process on my way into the studio.

It’s right around the corner from The Brick Room on the side of Kupka Real Estate Team, and it’s such a fun addition to the neighborhood! I love seeing local businesses and artists bringing even more color, creativity, and character to our community. ❤️
