Grey Forest Open Studios held its 30th Anniversary Gala at this evening with GFOS coordinator extraordinaire, Michael Phillips, announcing the two high school Scholarship winners! 🏆
🎨The Art Scholarships were presented to student Zareyah Rahman, a senior at Brandeis High School shown with her art teacher and display of her art.
🫟 Isaac Watson, a Junior at O’Connor high school was also presented with a scholarship by long time GFOS artist Natalie (Tita) Bowman and introduced by his art teacher alongside a display of his art.
🩷 Thanks to all of our sponsors whose generous donations made this event possible and these two awards a reality!

Celina Main, is one of the 2 Grey Forest Open Studios Scholarship Award Recipients! Celina is an Art Major at Texas State University in San Marcos. Celina will be showing her unique, oil and acrylic art at 18418 Hilltop Dr. Sat., Oct. 11 from noon- 6 PM during the 30th Annual Forest Open Studios - 30th Anniversary!!

What do you think of our new logo designed by artist Robert Tatum? Do you love it as much as we do?
Tatum moved to San Antonio in 1992 and as soon as he got here, proceeded to paint the town, literally, with murals.
He started different event/gallery/art houses and was also on the board for Art in the Hood and King William First Friday.
But now, Robert Tatum lives in the Forest and will be opening his studio Saturday, Oct. 11 for the Grey Forest Open Studios - 30th Anniversary!!
