It’s such a peaceful, romantic resort, and I can’t wait to return after the extensive remodel and refresh—it’s going to be even more beautiful while still keeping that signature laid-back luxury feel. 🌴💙

Alaska holds a special place in my heart because I visited when my boys were little. This picture was taken the day we were in Juneau and my husband was running a marathon so me and the boys were visiting Mendenhall Glacier.

It was an incredible trip, but looking back, I remember spending so much of my time making sure we got to the right place, keeping up with schedules, watching the kids, and making sure everyone was having a good time that I didn’t always get to fully soak in the experience myself.

As parents, we often become the planners, navigators, photographers, and coordinators of the vacation. Sometimes we’re so busy creating memories for everyone else that we miss some of the magic ourselves.

Looking through old Disney Cruise photos today and realizing just how many of our favorite family memories happened at sea. ❤️

We were always a Walt Disney World family, but if you ask my boys, I think they’d tell you that Disney Cruise Line holds some of their happiest memories.
