We had a winner in the Farm Bureau “Down on the Farm” art contest! Olivia won 1st place for grades 7-12 in Grenada County! She is so very talented and I am so proud of her! Tange also presented me with a gift certificate as an appreciation for always having my students participate!

GMS Visual Art recently had the pleasure of visiting the GSD Balloon Quest! This is an immersive environment that combines elements of an escape room, science lab and an interactive museum. It was such a creative and inspiring space for these artists to experience!

We participated in the Enchanted Swamp event by creating enchanted, colorful papier-mâché mushrooms and fairy doors! It was so fun! Some students also came to Lee Tartt Nature Preserve to make mystical tree faces with natural materials!
