✨ This is not your typical baby shower. ✨

Our Community Baby Shower was created because we believe every mother deserves to be celebrated, supported, and surrounded by community—regardless of her circumstances.

This isn’t simply an afternoon of gifts and games. It’s an opportunity to see mothers, listen to their stories, meet their needs, and remind them that they are not walking into motherhood alone.

Each year, we gather mothers from across our Upstate community who may not have access to the resources or support systems many of us take for granted. We surround them with local organizations, birth and postpartum professionals, community partners, and people who genuinely want to help.

And yes, there are gifts. There is food. There is laughter. There are beautiful moments of celebration. 💗

But there is also connection.

She might sit across from another mother and realize, I'm not the only one.
She will go home with large items such as a crib or carseat.
She can go home a little taller, feeling encouraged and powerful as the mother she is.

That is what makes this shower different.
We aren't just preparing babies for the world.
We're holding the mothers who are raising them.
Because when mothers are supported, families are stronger. And when families are stronger, our whole community changes.

This is Holding Mothers. This is our village.
