Today, we have some exciting news to share.
We are honored to announce that Great Escapes Inman will be joining the Trapped family and will soon become Trapped in the Upstate – Inman.
This announcement is especially meaningful to us because our relationship with the Great Escapes team goes back long before they opened their own escape room. In fact, RJ, Lauren, Tim, and Vickie were some of our very first customers and biggest supporters. They were among the first people to play several of our rooms as beta testers, and over the years, what started as customers and fellow escape room enthusiasts grew into a genuine friendship.
That's why this transition feels less like acquiring a business and more like being entrusted with something built by people we deeply respect.
Building an escape room business from the ground up takes an incredible amount of creativity, dedication, and heart. The Great Escapes team created something truly special in Inman. Their games have earned praise from both escape room enthusiasts and first-time players alike, and their commitment to quality is evident in every detail.
We are incredibly grateful that they have trusted us to continue what they started.
As part of this transition, we will continue offering the two existing escape rooms that guests have come to know and love, and we hope to complete the exciting project that is currently under construction. Our goal is to preserve what makes these games special while bringing them into the Trapped family.
We're also excited to expand operating hours and increase game availability, making it easier than ever for guests to experience these incredible adventures.
To RJ, Lauren, Tim, and Vickie: thank you for your friendship, your support over the years, and for allowing us to carry forward something you've worked so hard to build. We know firsthand the sacrifices, late nights, and passion that go into creating an escape room business, and we are committed to honoring what you've created.
To the Inman community: we can't wait to welcome you to Trapped in the Upstate – Inman and introduce even more players to these amazing games.
