Susie's Academy of Dance 36 years of qualified teaching experience in molding young students to become technical and proficient dancers. Come see what we’re about!!!

Classes include tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, contemporary, lyrical, pom and hip-hop. We are an extended dance family that promotes encouragement. We offer Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Pompom, Pointe and HipHop. We have something for recreational students as well as competitive students ages 2-up. We have four studio spaces, a parent and student lounge. We’ve been voted BEST Dance Studio in Greenwood County in 2019 and 2020!

From our sweet Tiny Tots tapping, twirling, and learning to our Tiny Hop dancers showing us those BIG moves in their tiny packages… Thursday nights are full of energy, smiles, and a whole lot of FUN at Susie’s Academy! 🎀🩰🎶

And the spotlight was extra special this week as we welcomed TWO brand-new Tiny Tots for their very FIRST day of dance! 🥹💕 We are so excited to have these sweet girls join our dance family and can't wait to watch them shine!

✨🩰 Back to Dance & Loving Every Minute! 🩰✨

Yesterday was a busy Tuesday at Susie’s Academy! 💕

Our sweet KinderKats were working hard, learning new things and having FUN, while our Pre-Teens celebrated being BACK TO DANCE with their official new season pics! 📸💗

From our littles just beginning their dance journey to our older dancers growing in confidence, technique and friendships year after year… these are the moments that make a dance studio feel like HOME. 🥹💕

Season 37 is underway, and we are so excited for everything ahead!

🩰💕 Little Dancers. Big Learning. Lots of Smiles. 💕🩰

At this age, ballet may look like sweet little arms, wiggly toes, and plenty of giggles… but there is SO much learning happening along the way! ✨

Our little dancers are building coordination, learning to listen and follow directions, developing musicality, gaining confidence, and discovering the joy of movement — one tiny step at a time. 💗

We love watching their personalities shine as they learn, grow, and find their own love for dance.

Sometimes the smallest dancers make the biggest progress. 🩰✨

💕 Still counting my blessings… and so many of them call me Ms. Susie. 💕

Watching this video back, my heart is just full.

Through all the years of teaching dance, I've learned that the greatest blessings aren't the trophies on the shelves, the scores, or the awards. They're the children God places in your life along the way. 🥹

These girls—and ALL of my dancers—are truly some of the greatest blessings God has given me. Every child who walks through our doors becomes a little piece of my heart. And my prayer is that these girls will also recognize what a blessing they can be to each other.

That's what our Big/Little Sister program is really about. The older ones encouraging the younger ones. The little ones looking up to their Bigs. Learning to support one another, celebrate one another, laugh together, make memories together, and always know that someone in this dance family has their back. 💗

Some will grow up and graduate before we're ready. Some are just beginning their journey. But for this season, God put all of us right here, together—and I don't take that for granted.

God, I'm still counting my blessings…
and these beautiful girls—and every dancer I'm blessed to teach—are most definitely among them. 🙏🏼💕✨

Here's to a season of growing, loving, encouraging, dancing and making memories together.
