Art teacher Jennifer Greer will teach you how to make your text visually pleasing. She will be using the technique of repousse to create an illuminated letter. This art form has been used throughout the ages and can be applied to fit a variety of occasions. From this hands-on workshop, you will take away an artistically drawn letter that may be used when publishing time comes.

A special gift was presented to our community yesterday:
“We are pleased to make a gift of the Jack Lewis artwork, "The Bean Picker'' (1954), for the enjoyment of Central Delaware citizens and children. This artwork was gifted to me by the Woodbridge School Board on January 21, 1992, during my first official visit to the Woodbridge School District as the new Delaware Superintendent of Public Instruction. It feels like a wonderful "coming home" event,” said Pat Forgione who presented the drawing with his wife Kaye.
Jack Lewis was a Bridgeville resident, artist and educator who painted the mural in the Bridgeville Public Library. This Lewis drawing will be on display there.
