🖤 We're so pleased to announce the winner of our People's Choice Award!

Congratulations to Trish Gans, artist of "I Spy with my Little Eye." 🎉

This mixed media artwork struck many of our visitors during the All Colorado Art Show.
One visitor commented the following in their submission:

"The work was very interesting and engaging! I loved the storytelling with the variety of found objects and textural components."

🐍 Here's another People's Choice Award contender for the 43d Annual All Colorado Art Show.

"Medusa," by artist Gerry Chapleski, was selected by a visitor who noted; "It startled me at first, and then when I saw the title, I looked closer and got the energy. Bright colors also caught my eye and the more I looked, the more detail I saw!"

We'll announce the People's Choice winner this Thursday.

The 43rd Annual All Colorado exhibit closes Friday, August 28. Don't miss it!

🍃 Garden Printing on Gelli Plates
Thursday, September 9 | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. | $150 - all supplies provided

Students will create prints using a gelatin (gelli) plate, and their own selection of plant material with the guidance of instructor Victoria Eubanks. We will use acrylic paint as our ink and create designs with leaves, blooms, roots etc, transferring their natural textures and shapes onto an assortment of papers. Students will be guided through specific steps to create various outcomes. The process is user-friendly, fun and immensely satisfying. Students will bring in plant clippings; all other supplies will be provided.

🖌️ Watercolor Landscape Painting from Photos
Saturday, August 29 | 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. | $75

Come and learn the basics of watercolor painting or improve your existing skills in this class designed for beginners with some experience. Students will learn materials and techniques for painting landscapes, floral scenes, and cityscapes in watercolor with the guidance of instructor Cliff Austin.

This class is designed for artists with some previous experience painting in watercolor.

🌻 Mixed Media Weekend Workshop
Saturday, September 5 | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. | $45 - all supplies provided

This class is perfect for beginners and advanced artists as mixed media is always an exploration and there is always something new to learn. In this class, students will experiment with collage, acrylic paints, and alternative mark making tools to create fun and unique abstract mixed media pieces. We will work with many materials to learn a variety of techniques.
