Patriot Nation, join us in welcoming Principal Barry Ledford to JL Mann High School. Mr. Ledford is a proven educational leader whose track record reflects a deep commitment to high-performing school cultures, instructional excellence, and student-centered outcomes. Currently serving as principal of the state’s highest-ranked traditional high school, Catawba Ridge High in Fort Mill, he has led the school to sustained academic success, including top state rankings, significant gains in student achievement, improved teacher retention, and a 47% reduction in behavioral incidents, all while fostering a culture of engagement and continuous improvement. His prior experience across curriculum leadership, counseling, and school operations provides a comprehensive understanding of secondary education systems and the strategies required to elevate them. Mr. Ledford holds a B.A. from North Greenville University and both an M.Ed. and Ed.S. from Liberty University. Mr. Ledford will begin his tenure July 1st.

MANN FAM…we are closing in on the end of the school year (seriously, where has the time gone?)!
As we prepare to end the year, say our goodbyes to the Class of 2026 and dive into summer, we have a few things to do.

Senior students are FREE but we need them in the head count for the dinner order! You won't want to miss celebrating the year....
