The Choir has been on tour through Northern Ireland and England! These pictures are from the last few days. We have had two concerts so far in Bangor, N. Ireland and at Cliff College! Thank you for hosting us!! We had an amazing opportunity to view and hold the original prayer book of John Wesley and to perform a piece in the Chapter House at York Minster Cathedral.

Heading up to Mt Precipice in Nazareth this morning with my group from Christ Church when I hear my name called. I look up, and it’s some of my students from Greenville University on their Holy Land trip!!! What a joyful surprise!!!

Calling all choral singers!

The Greenville Choral Union will present their 92nd annual performance of Handel’s Messiah on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, at 4pm in Wilson Recital Hall of Whitlock Music Center at Greenville University.

Weekly rehearsals will begin on Monday, Sept. 19, from 7pm-8:30pm at Whitlock Music Center. If you have ever sung this wonderful work or have been wanting to learn and perform it, we would love to have you join us. Scores to the music will be provided, or you may bring your own. The group is open to all singers from high school age on up through Sr. Adults.

Did You Know that GU Choir is in its 95th Season!?

Next Friday, during commencement weekend, the GU Choir will perform amazing selections from their Spring tour! Selections include works by Haydn, Mozart, Pederson, Kook, and DiOrio among others.

Following the concert, Dr. Don Frazure, Director of Choral Activities will hold an open Q/A and will announce the vision and some incredible plans for next year.
