Please welcome Andy Smith to SC Comicon Fall Edition!

Andy has been a professional comic book artist since 1991. He has mostly worked on comic books for major publishers such as Marvel, DC, Image Comics, Acclaim, and Cross Gen Ent. Andy is also the best-selling author of “Drawing Dynamic Comics,” which was published by Watson-Guptill in 2000.

Andy has also been busy building his Astonishing Comics line featuring Jungle Lords/ Ultra, his original superhero 1stMAN, and his latest project, KOR-DRATH: the Reckoning.

We are thrilled to welcome Michael Bailey Smith to SC Comicon Fall Edition!

Horror fans will know him as Super Freddy from A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child, while comic fans may remember him as Ben Grimm/The Thing in the unreleased 1994 Fantastic Four film (for which copies leaked and have circulated widely among fans for decades).

He also brought plenty of memorable characters to the small screen, including Belthazor, The Source, a Grimlock, and Shax on Charmed!

Smith's impressive career spans film and television, with appearances in Men in Black II, The X-Files, Star Trek: Voyager, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Malcolm in the Middle, The O.C., Desperate Housewives, and Monster Man. Horror fans will recognize him as Pluto in the 2006 remake of The Hills Have Eyes and Papa Hades in The Hills Have Eyes 2.

Welcome Dan Fraga to SC Comicon Fall Edition!!

Dan is a director and comic book artist whose storytelling career started in late 1991 when Cable and Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld hired the 18-year-old to join Extreme Studios and the newly formed Image Comics.

Throughout his 30+ year career, Dan has worked on several of the comic industry’s top titles, such as Bloodstrike, Youngblood, Supreme, and the Berzerkers at Extreme Studios. Witchblade, Darkness, and The Gear Station for Image Comics. Spider-man, Wolverine, What-if?!, and Generation X at Marvel, and at DC Comics Dan worked on Superman, The Power Puff Girls, and more recently on He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse.

In the summer of 2018, IDW Publishing released Dan’s first graphic novel, The Grave. In 2010, Dan made his directorial debut on the HBO series The Ricky Gervais Show. Dan also worked for Mattel as the Supervising Director for the animated content for Monster High, Everafter High, Enchantimals, Hot Wheels, and Max Steel. Dan was also the storyboard artist for The CW Legacies show and DC’s Doom Patrol.

Look for Dan’s latest comics project, as he brings back his creator-owned book from the 90s: Black Flag.

Please welcome Ian James Corlett to SC Comicon Fall Edition!!

For decades Ian has been serving up unique voice characterizations for projects of every genre.

He began his career voicing radio and TV commercials and soon found himself working in animated feature films and series such as the EMMY nominated cuteness of DINOSAUR TRAIN Cartoon Network’s zany Johnny Test and working for every major animation and gaming producer.

Ian cemented his standing in animation history by originating the iconic English voice of GOKU in Dragon Ball Z as well as voicing many other 90’s icons like CHEETOR in Beastwars/Transformers, the original MEGAMAN and BOB in REBOOT.

Additionally, Ian can be heard as MIROKU in Yashahime, PILAR in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, CLUTCH POWERS in Ninjago, AJ in Disney Jr’s Firebuds, FYNCH in Destiny 2, and TOM HALL in the Cobra Kai video games.

Most of Ian’s time is spent in front of a microphone, but when he isn’t recording, he is writing books, feature films and creating several hit series’ including his namesake animated series, BEING IAN which ran for 65 episodes and a movie. Ian spends his non- working time following professional motorsport and racing his own cars.
