Looking forward to two recitals this weekend from the BJU Flute Studio! Blair Carrier’s junior recital will feature music of J. S. Bach, Bozza, and Liebermann. Anwyn Ashley’s senior recital will feature works by Vivaldi, Reinecke, Nielsen, La Montaine, and Tower.

Sophomore flutist Blair Carrier is one of the concerto winners featured on the upcoming BJUSO concert. Come hear her play Griffes’ Poem this Saturday alongside her other talented fellow students!

Join us Saturday, January 28, 7:00 p.m., in Rodeheaver Auditorium for the annual Concerto and Aria Showcase Concert, featuring the winners of the 2022 Concerto/Aria Competition: Blair Carrier, flute, Zach Davidson, trombone, Sarah Grace Johnson, mezzo-soprano, and Taryn Johnson, piano.

Anwyn Ashley (Orchestral Instrument Performance major) is giving her junior flute/piccolo recital this Saturday at 7pm in FA 224!

Come hear her present works by Joseph Martin Kraus, Sergei Prokofiev, and Amanda Harberg. Anwyn will be joined by Sophia Tzitzikas (piano) and Caleb Ashley (viola).
