Ron “Patch” Hamilton
November 9, 1950 – April 19, 2023

At Ron’s Celebration of Life Ceremony, Marty (Ron’s sister) said, “Thank you for the hours you spent in the Word ensuring that the lyrics you wrote were scripturally sound . . . . You have written a song for almost every occasion—even this one. So, which one should I choose!

“O Rejoice in the Lord, He makes no mistake?”—even in taking you home so young, that would be perfect.
“Lord, I need You?” That would be perfect too.
“You were faithful, and I saw Jesus in you.”
“So, goodnight—I’ll see you in the morning.” I know where you are, so, “I’ll meet you there.”

And some personal favorite lyrics of mine:

“God gives wings to fly and strength to rise above.”
“How can I fear, Jesus is near?”
“All my talents I surrender.”
“Kneel before Him, all adore Him.”
