Sponsor Spotlight: Flaig Lumber Co

Flaig Lumber Co has been serving New Madison and the surrounding area since 1888. That's well over 130 years of helping neighbors build homes, barns, and everything in between. Still family-owned, still local, still the kind of place where you can walk in and talk to someone who actually knows what they're doing.

That's the kind of staying power and community investment we're proud to have supporting Illumination Festival. Businesses like Flaig Lumber are the backbone of Darke County.

Thank you, Flaig Lumber Co, for over a century of building up this community and for helping us build something special this September.

Sponsor Spotlight: Park National Bank

Park National Bank has roots founded in Newark, Ohio in 1908, but their Greenville presence goes back to Second National Bank, a hometown institution before it joined the Park National family. Over a century later, they've grown into a statewide network while still keeping that local, personal-service feel that local community banks are known for.

There are multiple branches right here in Greenville, and a track record of investing in the towns they serve. That kind of local commitment is exactly why we're grateful for their support.

Thank you, Park National Bank, for helping us keep building something special in Darke County so we can stay a Light in the Darke.

Ten years ago, we celebrated our 10th anniversary in a big way! The 2016 lineup brought Matthew West, Blanca, Building 429, and KJ-52 to the Darke County Fairgrounds for a night to remember.

A decade later, Matthew West has become a familiar face and he's been back on our stage since! It's wild to look back and see how far this festival has come, all while sticking to the same mission: bringing great music and community together right here in Greenville.

Who was at the 2016 show? Drop a memory in the comments!

Big stage energy isn't the only energy at Illumination.

The Coffeehouse Stage is where local and up-and-coming artists get their shot to showcase their talent with a full band, full sound, right alongside the festival's headliners. Grab a coffee, pull up a seat, and discover your next favorite artist before everyone else does.

Sponsor Spotlight: Greenville VFW Post 7262

Greenville's VFW Post 7262 was first chartered in 1946, as local Darke County veterans were returning home from serving in World War II. Nearly 80 years later, they're still a cornerstone of this community supporting local veterans, hosting public dances, and donating to causes like the Darke County Fire Chiefs Association.

That same spirit of showing up for the community is exactly why we're thankful to have them behind Illumination Festival. Their support helps us keep doing what we do: bringing people together right here in Darke County.

Thank you, VFW Post 7262, for your service and your support.

Saturday Sponsor Spotlight: Ghyslain Chocolatier 🍫

If you haven't been to Ghyslain Chocolatier in Union City, you're missing one of the best-kept secrets in the area. Chef Ghyslain Maurais trained in Québec, worked as a pastry and executive chef in hotels across Europe and North America, and eventually landed at the Inn at Versailles in Ohio — which is where he met his wife and ended up staying in her hometown of Union City. He opened his own shop there in 1998.

Since then it's grown into a nationally known chocolatier, known for hand-painted bonbons, French macarons, and pastries that look like they belong in a much bigger city. Not bad for a small town on the Ohio-Indiana line.
We're grateful to have their support behind Illumination Festival this year — good food, good craftsmanship, and good people go a long way in building something like this.
