Darke County Civic Theatre is looking for performers for our 2026 Fall Production—and this year, we’re doing something completely different!

📅 Auditions: Sunday, July 19, 2026
⏰ Time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

For the past several years, our fall production has been a variety show filled with acting, singing, and dancing. This year, we’re keeping all of those elements—but adding a creative twist:

🌟 WE WANT TO BUILD THE SHOW AROUND YOU! 🌟

After auditions, we’ll take a two-week break while our writing team creates an original script and show inspired by the talents, personalities, and ideas of those who audition. That’s right—the show will be tailor-made for our cast, creating exciting opportunities for everyone involved!

Our audition form also gives you the chance to share your ideas and opinions about the creative direction of the show. We want your input as we work together to create something truly special!

📅 Rehearsals: Typically Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons

🎭 Performance Dates: November 6 & 7, 2026

This year’s production will not be a dinner theater, but audiences can still enjoy snacks and drinks available for purchase, making it a fun and affordable experience for the whole family!

👻 About the Show:
Maggie MacNamara and her family are startled in the night by mysterious “ghosts”… but all is not what it seems. Master thief Theodore Blackwood and his reluctant niece Tammy—who dreams of joining the circus—have fled with the family’s life savings! Enter Deputy William Hawthorne, our daring hero, determined to solve the crime. With clues left behind and stakes rising, will justice prevail… or will the MacNamaras lose everything?

✨ Member Spotlight: Nicole Scott ✨
Nicole Scott is directing our upcoming production! With over 25 productions at DCCT and more than 15 years as part of the theatre family, Nicole is a driving force behind the magic on stage. 🎭💙
Outside of DCCT, Nicole enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and supporting other arts organizations. When she’s not in rehearsal mode, you might find her shopping at Von Maur, enjoying Reese’s Pieces, watching Schitt’s Creek, or listening to pop and rock music. ✈️🍽️🎶
Nicole says DCCT is a great way to get involved in the local community and support theatre—and she highly encourages others to join!

Kianna Dishman is taking the stage as Susan in our upcoming production! This show marks her 10th production with DCCT, and she has been a part of the theatre family for 8 years. 🎭💙
Outside of DCCT, Kianna is a licensed nail tech, an RBT, and a proud cat mom. When she’s not on stage, you might find her shopping at Marshalls, enjoying Reese’s and Snickers, watching The Office, or listening to all kinds of music. 💅🐾🍫🎶
Kianna says DCCT is a welcoming community that feels just like a big family.
