The Darke County Agricultural Society extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and countless fans of Dolly Parton.

Dolly’s impact reached far beyond country music. She inspired generations through her music, her kindness, her generosity, and her genuine love for children and education.

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she helped put millions of books into the hands of children and encouraged a love of reading in families across the country and around the world. That legacy, along with the joy she brought through her music, will continue for generations.

Today, we remember an extraordinary entertainer, philanthropist, and truly remarkable person whose influence reached far beyond the stage.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all who loved and admired her. ❤️

🐾 IMPORTANT FAIR REMINDER – NO DOGS ON THE FAIRGROUNDS 🐾

For the safety and enjoyment of our guests, dogs and other pets are not permitted on the fairgrounds.

✅ Trained service dogs are permitted in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

🚫 Emotional support, comfort, and companion animals are NOT considered service animals under the ADA and are not permitted under the service-animal exception.

A service animal is a dog that has been individually trained to perform a specific task or work for a person with a disability.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in following this policy and helping us provide a safe and enjoyable Great Darke County Fair for everyone.
