Learning to paint more loosely is very difficult for me! Especially when it comes to florals!!😅 But no worries I have a do or die attitude when it comes to anything I want to achieve. At least that is what my kids call it!!😜🎨
This little piece is at the Guild Gallery in downtown Greenville if you're local!!😘💙💙 I love magnolia trees🌳. I grew up with on in the yard. It always had the biggest white blooms and smelled somewhat like lemons to me. My neighbor's now have a gorgeous pink one. Sometimes we grab inspiration where ever we find it!!🌺🌹🌻🌷🌸💐🌼🌱🥀💙💙

You've heard of the term mad scientist. Well I'm always thinking more in terms of mad Artist!! Not angry mad. More like crazy made😁😁. Add this take away that over and over and over.....
Trying to looooosing up and paint some abstract flowers. Which is a big challenge for me. It always has been!! One of the first things that children first draw or paint is flowers!! And over time we try to make them perfect. RIGHT?? But for some of us a switch goes off and realism no longer exists. This happened to me many years ago. But flowers are still a struggle for me.😬 I started this one a few days ago....So yesterday my husband walked into my studio and asked what I was working on and to say goodnight. I said a flower do you not see it. He said sorry but no I don't see it.
😳 I thought to myself silly boy I will make you see!!😁😁😉😊 And that is what abstract is to me !!😉💙💙.Making others see what you see

I do get asked pretty often..... How do I make such tiny lines in my art work. Of course I don't say with one of the cheapest manuscripts pens available😬. But sence I don't use it for pen writing or manuscript art it works well for me!😀

I love a challenge!!😀💙💙 This is still a WIP.....its about 50% complete.
So a few weeks ago I drove about 45 minutes to pick up this dummy from the that is soon to be open in . This is Faye the Artist Angel!💙 She will be in the show at the gallery!!🎨 ... She is wearing a vintage cloth headpiece and silver Angel wings. She is also holding a paint brush and a paint palette that I made with a thin piece of wood using a dremel tool. I think she is a little cute!!😀💙💙
