Hello, dancers!

We know we have been silent over here. So here’s an update for ya!

Firstly, meet your new board members, Vashti and Jared. Vashti was on the GLH board a few years ago, but took a break to focus on her music career. Jared will be joining the GLH board for the first time. We are both so excited about the future of GLH and hope to see you all at our dances!

Secondly, GLH will be taking a hiatus over the summer. We are hoping to be back dancing with you all by either August or September.

GLH will NOT have a dance at landmark tonight. But please go and support our friends at Carolina Swing Dance ( ) as they host their first dance TONIGHT!

A wonderful time was had by all last night! Thank you to everyone who came out to dance with us. We hope to see everyone...

Hello dancers! We have so many exciting changes coming your way. Starting in July, Carolina Swing Dance will continue our monthly dances, so they will feel the same, just with a few changes. Jared Whitman and Vashti Baluch are stepping into the leadership roles of GLH. Things might change just a little bit, but you can still expect great dances, lessons and hopefully more live music from Greenville Lindy Hoppers. We are excited to continue dancing with you all! Thank you for sticking with us as we reorganize our local leadership. Keep an eye on social media for more information and announcements.

Saturday, May the 4th (be with you), Allison Raven and Brynnie Rawson will be bringing you the basics! This is the perfect lesson for everyone of all skill levels but especially our beginners.
For Saturday night we will not be having an intermediate lesson. Since we are having workshops in the afternoon, we don’t want to exhaust our instructors!

Breana Harrington and Krystal Ingram will get you out on the dance floor! Whether it’s your first time or you’re feeling a bit rusty. These ladies will be teaching the beginner lesson!
Vashti Baluch and Sergio Clavijo will take your dancing to the next level! If you’ve been dancing a while and want to add a little spice to your social dancing this is the lesson for you! They will be teaching swing outs for the intermediate lesson.

Tonight's 2 hour class at Landmark Hall from 7-9 will be Balboa, with the first hour being focused on purebal and the second hour on bal-swing. The dance after from 9-11 will be a mixture of tempos for all types of swing!
