🎭 Youth Audition Notice ⭐️

Calling all youth actors! We are excited to invite you to audition for Greenville Theatre’s productions of THE WIZARD OF OZ and BIG FISH in our celebratory Season 101!

As an organization, we are dedicated to a casting process that is nurturing and welcoming to all. Our goal is to create an audition space and environment where individuals are seen, heard, respected, and appreciated.

Auditions for these productions will take place on Saturday, September 19th, 2026 (10AM 1PM) at Greenville Theatre. Please follow the instructions to secure your audition time through SignUp Genius (NO MEMBERSHIP NEEDED). Please read through the audition details on our website for further information.

*Auditions for TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD and HAIRSPRAY will take place at a later date.*

If you are unable to attend auditions in-person, you may submit a virtual audition by emailing [email protected]. We will provide you with detailed instructions for your virtual audition!

✨Junior Players Audition Announcement ✨

School is back and so is GT Junior Players for our Fall 2026 Semester! Auditions will be held Tuesday, August 25 at 4:30pm and Thursday, August 27 at 4:30pm. (Students only need to attend one audition day - please choose the date that works best for your schedule.) Led by Director of Education and Greenville Theatre actor Carter Allen, this auditioned ensemble of young performers between the ages of 10-16, will spend 12 weeks learning about many different aspects of performing, including improvisation, auditioning, scene work, movement, voice, backstage etiquette, and more!

GT is honored to announce the initiation of the Betty Farr Educational Scholarship in loving memory of Greenville philanthropist and youth advocate, “Grandma” Betty Farr.

From an early age, Farr firmly believed in the impact the arts have on children, founding Betty’s School of Dance when she was just 19 years old. She provided unparalleled support for the arts until she passed away this spring at the age of 92.

We are incredibly honored to offer this new scholarship opportunity for students in need as a tribute to Betty Farr's memory.

Scholarship opportunities will be available for our upcoming GT Junior Players class in the Fall 2026 Semester and will continue through all of our youth programming. Perfect for fellow Upstate artists, tickets can only be purchased in-person, at the box office, starting at 1PM with a performance time of 2PM.

Pay-What-You-Will means any individual can pay whatever they feel comfortable paying per ticket! There is NO minimum charge and no additional fees apply. Cash and credit cards will be accepted as methods of payment. If you are paying with cash, we encourage you to bring the exact amount you wish to spend.
