Rough stones, steady hands, and a whole lot of sparkle. ✨

This week at William Holland Lapidary School in Young Harris, GA, was nothing short of magic. Under the expert eye of instructor Rick Marshall, we transformed beautiful local stones and Florida corals into cabs that truly shine.

Beyond the techniques and the dust, it was about learning the soul of each stone—knowing exactly where to cut to bring out its best for my customers. It was also incredible to meet fellow artists from across the USA and peek into the studios of the other instructors for future lessons.

Huge thanks to my team at Wescagem Greenville for this unforgettable experience. I’m coming back with a full heart and a packed toolbox! 💎

What an incredible week in the mountains! 🏔️💎

I spent my days at the William Holland Lapidary School with the legendary Rick Marshall, learning to coax the best possible shine out of local Georgia stones and Floridian corals.

It wasn't just about the grinding and polishing; it was about the art of selection—finding that perfect window to ensure my customers get the absolute best. Getting to know the other instructors and connecting with artists from all over the country was the cherry on top.
