MAKING THE SPACE COUNT. 👁️

Added this Cyclops statue into a tight spot between existing pieces, using the shape of the available skin to help dictate the composition.

I wanted this one to feel aged and weathered — strong contrast, stone texture, and an almost unfinished sculptural quality that lets the piece breathe without overpowering everything around it.

Sometimes the most interesting tattoos come from figuring out what belongs in the space you already have.

COVER-UPS ARE A PROCESS.

This one took 3 sessions — 3hrs / 7hrs / 4hrs — and that was intentional.

With a cover-up this heavy, my goal isn’t to hammer as much ink into the skin as possible in one sitting. I approach it in layers.

Each session gave me the opportunity to build saturation, establish the darker values needed to bury the old tattoo, let everything heal, and then come back to see exactly what the skin and old pigment were still giving me.

That healing time matters.

Instead of overworking the skin trying to force a finished result in one marathon session, we progressively built the blacks, midtones, textures and contrast until the old tattoo became part of the foundation rather than something fighting through the new piece.

Good cover-up work isn’t just putting a darker tattoo over an old one. It’s understanding how to strategically use value, saturation, placement and healing to make the old tattoo disappear.

14 hours. 3 sessions. One completely different shoulder.

Abraham’s faith was revealed through his willingness to obey God even when the command cost him something.

Faith says, “I trust You.”
Obedience says, “I’ll follow You.”

“And in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.”

Tattooing has given me the opportunity to serve people in a way I never imagined. Every piece carries a story, and every client has impacted my life just as much as I’ve impacted theirs.
