Speckled Trout.
Burned and carved on birch.

Framing a piece can make it work better in certain spaces or give it a little elegance. We love the contrast on this one! 🔥

🌟 ARTIST SPECIAL 🌟

You guys have seen a lot of fish being created recently. I figured it was time to branch out and give myself a challenge.

This is the first time I’ve tried to burn ducks. I’ve always wanted to try it but I was nervous that the outcome wouldn’t be what I wanted it to be. I was scared to take the chance of being disappointed with what I had created. This one was tough, I had a lot of different ideas that I blended together and I couldn’t be any happier about the outcome!

This project has taught me many things but there is one thing that sticks out to me. Face a challenge head on, give it all you’ve got, and don’t be afraid to fail. Everyone fails, we’re all humans, but the most important thing is how you react to your failures. Do you give up or do you try it again until you reach your goal?

This piece is for sale. It’s a good opportunity to get a one of a kind creation!! If you are interested, don’t hesitate to reach out!

As always, we look forward to hearing from you soon!!

PURPLE…GOLD

We added a special Pirate touch to this inshore slam. Also check out the different colors on the fish! 🤩

These could be done with a light colored blue or red and white, but we don’t think they would look as good as purple and gold…😉

Look at this butcher block! 🤩 We just finished this island. Long enough for 3 barstools, extra storage, and a wine cellar!! We love the way this turned out!

A friend reached out with a log of cedar from his family’s homestead. It was used in one of the original cabins on their farm, and estimated to be over 150 years old! He wanted to use a piece of the log as his mantle in his house that is under construction.

We ripped a straight edge on the top and back but left the raw edges on the front and bottom! The wood was filled with remnants of carpenter bees (they are called galleries, who knew? 😂). We filled all of those holes with epoxy to ensure it was solid. It’s finished with a semi-gloss sealer to bring out the figure of the wood.

We LOVE how this turned out, and we can’t wait to see what it looks like with stone around it!! 🤩
