I was so happy to complete this portrait for a special friend. She is such a sweet pup and I believe that the reference picture captures that. A good reference picture makes my job much easier.
Since I can only draw what I see, I encourage clients to find a picture that best conveys the personality that they want portrayed.

This is a memorial portrait of a young man that unfortunately was diagnosed with cancer one month after this picture was taken. His cousin commissioned me to complete this portrait for his mother, who was also her aunt. She shared some memories with me as we talked and a little bit about her aunt. It’s my hope and prayer that this portrait will help bring peace and comfort to the family.

This is a portrait of a very dear friend’s mother who passed away many years ago. Her daughter asked me to draw it as a birthday surprise for her. This also has special meaning for me because I knew and loved her mother very much. ❤️
