Hi, I’m Hannah! Just thought I’d introduce myself and tell you a little about my journey. ✨
From a young age I have always been fascinated with Typography, Graphic Design and Videography. My mom recently sent me a photo of my 8th grade project on Typography and Graphic Design- it was definitely a full circle moment. 🥹 And in high school I took every Video Journalism and Digital Media class I could. I just loved being behind the camera, writing scripts, directing and then editing to get the perfect cut. 🤓
Fast forward to 2019: I re-discovered my passion when I was building a logo for my best friend and myself (we wanted to start a youtube channel😅) and later founded Magenta Mystic Design Co. in 2020 as a Logo & Graphic Design project while working as a Virtual Assistant amidst the COVID pandemic. With all the free time we had, I took online courses - learning the basics of Logo Design and Graphic Design. I landed my first Remote VA + Social Media client in 2021 and was so excited, but I had never done Social Media! I took a few online courses but for the first bit, I learned as I went, having fun with trends, learning how to work the algorithm and using my creativity to help my clients online presence grow. 🌱
In 2024, I took over the Instagram for The Cazbah where I hosted part-time. This was such an amazing opportunity and with it came more skill building, learning and growth. I was nervous but so excited to take on a new challenge! Later in 2024 I was recommended to Suzy at Noble Vice Wine Co by a dear friend, and I finally got a camera — gifted to me by my precious mom 🥰 — and I began picking some photography gigs on the side, also incorporating this into my clients’ work. I always have so much fun taking photos, creating videos and seeing people’s reactions when they view my work. 🫶🏼
I never thought this was where my career would lead me but I am so grateful for my journey, and I want to thank every person who has cheered me on along the way because I sometimes still feel like I have no idea what i’m doing! 😅
