“missing me” and “finding love,” are on the way to for their annual 6x6 fundraiser event!

The last photo is a throwback to 2023, the first piece I submitted to , and the first piece of my art ever purchased! Even though it was a $20 fundraiser, knowing my work connected with someone enough for them to take it home meant so much ☺️

I’ve missed a couple of years since then, but happy to be back for 2026!

“missing me” is about choosing myself again amidst the chaos. “finding love” reflects the non-straightforward path of finding love for myself. These might mean something entirely different to you, and that’s the beauty of art~

Small update to 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀!

Life got a bit too busy, so this is now a two-month practice.
Ten sketches over January and February (only 4 more to go!)

Something new is on the wall: a practice, not a promise

Little Experiments is a monthly sketch wall where the only rule is to fill all ten spaces, even when the sketches feel awkward, unfinished, or “bad,” and to focus on curiosity and play ✨

This month’s curiosity: layering stitches 🪡

A reminder (mostly for myself): the work doesn’t have to be good to be worth making!

Thank you to everyone who came by my studio during Open Studios this weekend! It meant so much to share my work, hear your stories, and meet so many new (and returning!) faces. Your support, curiosity, and conversations made the weekend so special~ ☺️

You can also still catch my piece “𝘛𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘈𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵” (seen above), along with works from other Open Studios artists, at ’s 𝟭𝟮𝘅𝟭𝟮 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁 through December 12. The gallery is open Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

🌸 Studio Blooms 🌸
Been a bit since I’ve posted on the feed, but I haven’t stopped painting. Flowers have kept me company… small studies, slow growth, steady blooms

Slowly but surely, I’m budding along 🌱💪🏼More blooms (and experiments) coming soon!

“Not Lost, Exploring” 🗺️
 This little piece has helped me feel my way forward during a time when the path ahead isn’t totally clear

The stitched maze around the landscape reflects that feeling of moving through uncertainty, trying to find a way, doubling back, getting turned around, but still going… towards somewhere unexpected, or out of the maze itself

Now framed in an 11x14 oak frame and ready for its next chapter: to be part of a local fundraiser for a good cause. More details coming soon!
