Skill Level: Any Level

Ages: 8 - Adult

Description: By applying needle felting, you can create a Fall landscape painting with 100% natural wool. Fiber artist Cecilia Ho will guide you through blending, mixing, and needle-felting with 30+ color-dyed NZ Corriedale wool fibers. Step-by-step wool painting demonstration & instruction will be conducted in this workshop. You will take home a beautiful wool painting (at least 8” x 8”) which can be framed as wall art or sewn on. All basic felting materials and supplies are included.

Supplies: All supplies are included … just bring your creativity!

Honored to be part of this special 90-min « Inside Greenville’s ART Scene » series Furman OLLI this Fall 2026 & sharing my journey of felting fiber arts 💜

Inside Greenville’s Art Scene : Conversations with the Artists Shaping Our Creative Community 💜 Introducing organizations that support Greenville’s creative community 🎨

This group of OLLI students are very lucky to meet many presenters including sculptor Yuri Tsuzuki, videographer and Film Bar founder Rhodes Farrell, stained glass artist Aaron Anderson, photographers Michael Pannier and Linda Hosek, printmaker Orlando Corona, muralist Adam Schrimmet, and Liz Cotner of the Metropolitan Arts Council 🤩 I wish I could join this 9-week series too!

Glad to share how I become a Teaching Artist when my daughter’s 2nd grade class teacher invited me to run the Economy : Product & Services Unit with some hands-on felting projects ; & how I start felting with real sheep wool since I was living just 10mins away from the sheep farm in Nova Scotia ; & how my parents inspired me to create unique creations & the important to share skills with others through teaching workshops.
